Oliver’s Travels bolsters French portfolio with acquisition of Annecy villa rental company

Oliver’s Travels has acquired Annecy-based villa rental company Lac Montagne, adding 20 holiday homes to its collection.

The villa specialist now operates 27 villas in Annecy, bolstering its presence in France, its “strongest destination”.

Oliver Bell, the company’s co-founder, said: “Annecy and the surrounding Alpine region have always been close to my heart – it’s one of those rare places that truly offers it all, from lake views to mountain adventures.

“Adding Lac Montagne’s exclusive portfolio of villas allows us to bring this stunning part of France to even more of our guests, whether they’re looking for an Alpine summer escape or a ski-season getaway. It’s a brilliant fit for our Lakes and Mountains collection and another exciting step in growing our French collection."

The move follows the villa specialist’s largest acquisition to date, which saw it gain 331 properties from Pure France earlier this month.

The company has made a series of acquisitions over the past 12 months and said it’s “actively looking” to acquire new business.
