Oceania Sonata will debut in August 2027 with new suite categories
Oceania Cruises has revealed that its first Sonata Class ship will feature a larger number and variety of suites than any of the line’s existing vessels.
Oceania Sonata will debut in August 2027 with 223 suites, which represent 33% of all accommodation types on board.
In a first for the line, the ship’s four Owner’s Suites, situated on the corners of Deck 10 and 11, will feature two bedrooms rather than one, as well as a wraparound terrace.
There will be eight Vista Suites, the second-highest room category, which will have expansive verandas, living and dining areas and a master bathroom with double vanities.
In addition, Oceania Sonata will house 16 “reimagined” Oceania Suites as well as a brand-new accommodation category designed for “aspirational luxury travellers”.
The ship’s 50 Horizon Suites will feature a living area, walk-in wardrobe and large veranda.
The introduction of 82 Penthouse Deluxe Suites also marks a new suite category for the line. There will also be 63 Penthouse Suites, the lead-in suite category on board.
All suite guests will benefit from dedicated butler service.
Oceania Cruises’ chief luxury officer Jason Montague said: “We have listened closely to the desires of our guests and are delighted to unveil Oceania Sonata’s thoughtfully reimagined suite accommodations.
“Ocean Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship to deliver our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality.”
