Changes to the seven-strong trade team have been in effect since October 1
Oceania Cruises has made a series of changes to its UK and Ireland sales team as part of its “next step to building the most effective luxury sales team in the industry”.
The changes to the seven-strong trade team have been in effect since October 1 and aim to “deliver greater clarity” and personalisation for the line’s trade partners.
The team will continue to be led by Louise Craddock, director of sales for the UK and Ireland, with four expanded roles.
Mark Godden has moved from sales manager for the south to key account manager.
Natalie Read has been promoted from regional sales executive to sales manager.
Lucy Pollard has moved over from Regent Seven Seas Cruises in a newly created dual-branded commercial planning manager role.
Leah Williams’ role has been expanded to include events as a senior sales support executive and events.
Meanwhile, senior key account manager Alex Farquharson, business development manager Kal Sindhu and sales support executive Kim Gough will continue in their current positions.
The recruitment process has also started for a commercial planning analyst to support the UK and Ireland sales team.
Paul Beale, vice-president sales for Oceania Cruises & Regent Seven Seas Cruises UK & Ireland, told Travel Weekly he has been considering the changes since moving into his dual-branded role six months ago and speaking to the team and travel agents.
Beale said: “With this restructure we have been able to utilise all the team that we have and grow the team on top of that.
“I am really pleased with how the collaboration is working better and how we are keeping the brand differentiation as well.
“I want two distinct competitive teams fighting for their success with two tenacious leaders and with these changes we will go from strength to strength.”
