Mayor Hotels & Resorts appoints business development manager to ‘strengthen commercial presence’

Mayor Hotels & Resorts has appointed a new business development manager for the UK and Ireland to help “strengthen the group’s commercial presence” across two of its “most strategically important” markets.

Yiannis Ioannou joins the Corfu-based hotel group with more than a decade of hospitality experience, having previously held roles at Grecotel Hotels & Resorts and Avra Collection.

In his new role, Ioannou will support the development of strategic partnerships across the UK and Ireland, working with tour operators, agents and distribution partners.

He will also focus on “elevating the visibility” of the hotel group’s portfolio, strengthening partner engagement and aiding “long-term growth objectives and international expansion”.

Mayor Hotels & Resorts currently operates three properties in Corfu: Cabo, Unda and Restia.
