Kuoni strengthens trade team amid ‘continued investment’ in agent support

Kuoni has strengthened its trade partnerships team with a promotion for Adam Morris and the recruitment of Lori Scannella.

It said the changes are part of its “continued investment in supporting travel agents” and follow news that Sarah Weetman – previously head of trade partnerships – will lead all sales channels across retail, trade and its newly launched Personal Travel Managers network as head of retail, PTMs and trade.

Trade partnership manager Morris is taking on the leadership of the team while Scannella joins as trade partnerships support assistant.

Morris will take responsibility for leading Kuoni’s trade partnerships strategy, driving agent engagement, training and business development initiatives.

Scannella brings extensive industry experience from previous roles at Azamara Cruises and Royal Caribbean Group and will support the team by covering Alix O’Brien’s maternity leave from September.

Morris said: “Leading Kuoni’s trade partnerships team is a role I’m incredibly excited about.

“The relationships we have with our agent partners are at the heart of everything we do.

He said Scannella has a “deep understanding of the trade, genuine passion for supporting agent partners and strong industry relationships”.

Scannella added: “Building relationships with travel agents has been a key part of my career and I’m looking forward to working closely with partners, broadening my own knowledge and helping deliver the outstanding support and service that Kuoni is known for.”

Morris continued: “Enhancing the agent experience remains a key priority. Continued investment in our online booking and support processes to streamline the agent journey will make working with Kuoni even easier.”
