Celine Assimon will oversee commercial and brand strategy across global portfolio
Kerzner International has appointed Celine Assimon as the group’s chief commercial officer.
Assimon will oversee the commercial and brand strategy across Kerzner’s global portfolio of brands including One&Only, Atlantis, Siro and Rare Finds.
With more than two decades of experience from previous leadership roles with luxury brands such as De Beers Jewellers and Louis Vuitton, Assimon brings expertise in brand repositioning, retail expansion and sustainability initiatives, as well as experience in modernising heritage brands for new audiences.
Chief executive of Kerzner International Philippe Suber said: “Celine’s exceptional track record in luxury, creative vision and commitment to excellence make her the ideal leader to drive our commercial strategy forward.”
Assimon’s appointment comes alongside a raft of leadership updates across the group, including the recent promotion of Mattheos Georgios to head of global operations.
Kerzner also saw a series of senior appointments within its UK and northern Europe commercial division earlier this year, following the departure of regional director of sales and marketing Craig Jeffs.
In April, Lize Smit was promoted to director of commercial for the UK and Europe and Jonathon Ballamy moved to account director for the UK and northern Europe.
