The chef will take over the resort’s signature restaurant during the festive season
InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort has revealed details of its 2025 festive programme, including a culinary partnership with acclaimed chef Tom Aikens.
Aikens, who has helmed two Michelin-starred restaurants, will take over the property’s signature overwater restaurant The Lighthouse between December 26 and January 6.
Alongside the resort’s team of chefs, Aikens will offer a series of fine-dining experiences, cooking masterclasses and a private yacht dining event.
He said: “I am excited to be partnering with InterContinental Maldives for what promises to be one of my most exciting collaborations to date, and I can’t wait to share some of my signature dishes with guests.
“Cooking and working in such a breathtaking, idyllic Maldivian setting is always going to be an incredible experience, and I have no doubt this will be an unforgettable trip.”
InterContinental Maldives’ 2025 festive programme will also include ocean-inspired art classes with UK artist Florence Super, sessions with children’s entertainers Sharky & George, and a programme of spa treatments with guest practitioner Emma Diani.
