Agents can win one of five places on California fam trip
Gold Medal is tapping into World Cup interest with the launch of a US and Canada campaign alongside an incentive offering agents the chance to win one of five places on a California fam trip.
‘In Focus: USA & Canada’ features a new 132-page brochure and selling guide to help agents convert the anticipated client enquiries that major sporting events often generate.
The B2B operator has also created a microsite with downloadable marketing assets, social content, and special offers.
The campaign features two “standout” new properties making their debut in the Gold Medal portfolio this year.
The Valorian, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, is on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, and was previously known as The Mondrian.
Dolly Parton’s Songteller Hotel in Nashville – inspired by the country singer’s memoir – will be available to book “very soon”.
Sarah Lancashire, marketing and interim product director at Gold Medal, said: “The US and Canada have always been strong performers in our portfolio, but right now the stars are aligning.
“The aim of this campaign is to give our agent partners a comprehensive toolkit that is designed to help sell this compelling destination as it comes into sharper focus across the globe.
“Whether that’s the spirit of Miami, the Dallas skyline or Vancouver’s breathtaking Pacific backdrop, this campaign supports our agent partners to be prepared for the enquiries, and our position is to make sure they are informed and ready to sell.”
Gold Medal has partnered with United Airlines for the incentive offering five places on a fam trip to California.
Any US or Canada packages booked in June can be registered via the Gold Medal website to be entered into the prize draw.
The fam trip includes two nights in Monterey Bay, two in Yosemite National Park and two in Sonoma Valley.
