G Adventures bolsters National Geographic Signature range

G Adventures has further expanded its National Geographic Signature portfolio with the addition of another 17 new itineraries. 

The upmarket collection of expedition tours was launched in January, offering “rare access, expert insight and meaningful connections with local communities”.

It was expanded in April and now these latest additions bring the total number of trips to 67 across 48 destinations.

Experiences include visiting an Indigenous community-owned African elephant sanctuary in Kenya to understand community-led conservation; learning about Iceland’s geology with a volcanologist; and venturing into New Zealand’s Waitomo Glowworm Caves with a renowned ecologist.

Yves Marceau, product vice-president at G Adventures, said: “The overwhelmingly positive response to National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has demonstrated travellers are looking for trips that align strongly with their values.

“They still expect outstanding service and comfort, but increasingly they are looking for experiences that broaden their perspective.

The new trips include Signature: Kenya’s Wildlife & Cultural Heritage, from £8,649 for eight days, and Signature: New Zealand, Milford Sound & Māori Culture, a 13-day trip from Auckland to Christchurch, priced from £9,999.

Others include Signature: Rwanda’s Primate Kingdoms; Signature: Sri Lanka’s Highlands, Yala & Galle; Signature: Iceland’s Winterscapes, Golden Circle & Northern Lights; and Signature: Ecuador’s Amazon Rainforest & Andean Highlands.

Other destinations featured in the latest release include India, Botswana, southern Africa, East Africa and the US.
