Entrepreneur Kayla Itsines and baseball player Jason Heyward join ‘distinguished’ roster of partners
Fitness-focused hotel group Siro has named two new ambassadors in “exciting new chapter” for the brand.
Fitness entrepreneur Kayla Itsines and Major League Baseball player Jason Heyward have joined Siro’s “distinguished” roster of ambassadors and partners.
Itsines is the creator of an online community that focuses on an accessible, science-backed approach to health and wellness.
She will collaborate with the brand on a series of exclusive wellness experiences and content initiatives, focusing on strength, recovery, longevity and sustainable healthy habits.
Itsines said: “For more than a decade, my mission has been to help women build healthier, stronger lives through movement. Over time, my understanding of true wellbeing has evolved to be about so much more than exercise – it’s about how we recover, sleep, nourish ourselves and create habits that support us for the long term.
“That’s why partnering with Siro feels like such a natural fit. We share the belief that lasting health is built through a holistic approach, and I’m excited to inspire more people to prioritise their wellbeing in a way that feels sustainable for life.”
Heyward spent 16 years playing Major League Baseball, winning two World Series and building a “wide-reaching” network of athletes.
He will work with Siro to develop experiences inspired by elite sport, including champions’ dinner conversations and leadership sessions.
Heyward said: “Throughout my career, fitness and recovery have been essential to helping me perform at my best, especially while travelling.
“When I learned about Siro, I immediately felt a personal connection to the brand and knew I wanted to be involved. Siro understands what athletes and people need to stay consistent on the road, and I’m excited to join team Siro and help share that approach with others.”
Celine Assimon, chief commercial officer at Siro parent brand Kerzner International, said: “Kayla and Jason each embody different yet complementary dimensions of the Siro philosophy. Kayla has inspired millions through her commitment to making fitness accessible and sustainable, while Jason’s extraordinary career reflects the discipline, resilience and consistency required to perform at the highest level.
“Together, they capture the breadth of the Siro mindset and reinforce our belief that performance is not reserved for elite athletes but is a lifelong pursuit available to everyone.
“At Siro, our ambition is to redefine what performance and wellbeing mean: we are building a brand that sits at the intersection of science, expertise and human potential. A brand that inspires people to move better, recover better, think better and ultimately live better.
“Through our five pillars of sleep, fitness, recovery, nutrition and mindfulness, Siro provides a holistic framework for personal growth and sustained performance. Kayla and Jason are powerful embodiments of that vision, and their influence will help us bring the Siro philosophy to life for our community around the world and inspire more people to become ‘Built for Better’”.
