Operator’s managing director says brand is ‘very grateful’ for trade support
Exsus Travel has enjoyed a strong start to 2026, with the operator’s managing director reporting “continued growth momentum”.
Speaking at its annual Travel Agent Awards event in London, Habib Rehman said: “We have proudly maintained the growth trajectory we started in 2025, and that growth momentum of 25% [from last year] has continued apace through 2026.”
Rehman hailed the role the trade has played in this growth, describing the support for the operator as “incredibly humbling”.
He said: “Our growth has also been further driven by the ultimate compliment: you recommending us to your peers.”
Through the brand’s referral programme, which launched earlier this year, Exsus has been signing an average of eight new agents per month, rewarding partners with £250 when the referred agent makes their first booking.
The operator also vowed to continue hosting fam trips and events to help agents “relax, spend time together and strengthen relationships”.
Sales director Sinziana Renciuc said: “We recognise how valuable those moments are, which is why Exsus is committed to investing even more in agent events, fam trips and opportunities to bring us all together.”
Exsus’s fifth annual Travel Agent Awards ceremony was held at Shangri-La The Shard on July 10.
The award for Top Agency Group went to Designer Travel, while Swords Travel was named Best Newcomer.
The Travel Snob’s David Walker was awarded the prize for Top Selling Agent and Kelly-Ann Bowen of Luxury Dream Holidays was named Exsus Ambassador.
Regional agency awards went to Murray Travel, Oasis Travel, Aquilium Travel and Beaver Travel.
