Three to five-night add-ons will tie in with debut of Alaska itineraries on Explora III
Explora Journeys has revealed details of new pre and post-cruise packages in Alaska and Western Canada for summer 2027.
The three to five-night "Destination Immersions" experiences will tie in with the debut of Alaska itineraries on Explora III.
The collection will enable passengers to “delve deeper into the wilderness and heritage” of the destinations and feature luxury rail travel, “thoughtful encounters” with nature and culture, and exclusive culinary experiences.
Pre-cruise options from Seward in Alaska include a three-night Alaska Immersion taking in Anchorage, Denali National Park and the town of Talkeetna, or a four-night Alaskan Adventure visiting Fairbanks, Denali National Park and glaciers near Girdwood.
Post-cruise experiences from the same destination include a three-night Encounter Alaska’s Soul journey visiting Talkeetna, Denali National Park and Anchorage, or a four-night Into the Alaskan Wilderness stopping in Girdwood, Denali National Park and Fairbanks.
In the Canadian Rockies, there are two five-night experiences before and after the voyage, a westbound journey from Calgary to Vancouver visiting Banff National Park pre-cruise or an eastbound trip from Vancouver to Calgary.
Explora Journeys president Anna Nash said: "These Destination Immersions reflect our commitment to offering immersive luxury travel that extends beyond the ship.
“They allow our guests to explore in greater depth, with intention and authenticity, and to connect more profoundly with the places they visit."
She added: “Whether it’s journeying through the vast wilderness of Alaska or uncovering the cultural richness of the Canadian Rockies, these experiences are designed to complement and elevate the overall Explora Journeys experience, seamlessly blending land and sea into one continuous, meaningful narrative.”
