Emerald Cruises unveils first look at newest river ship

Emerald Cruises has revealed renderings of its newest river ship Emerald Astra ahead of its launch in May.

The 180-passenger ship will include art installations, a redesigned Sun Deck and complimentary passenger laundry facilities.

Emerald Astra will depart on an inaugural nine-day cruise from Budapest on May 3, with prices leading in from £3,164.

The river ship will then operate a range of European river itineraries, including Rhine Castles & Moselle Vineyards, Jewels of the Rhine, Splendours of Europe and The Majestic Rhine.
