Ella Resorts strengthens UK commercial team

Greece-based hotel group Ella Resorts has strengthened its UK commercial team to “expand” the brand’s relationship with the trade.

Claire Griffiths joins the company as trade relations manager, bringing with her two decades of luxury hospitality experience at brands such as Saranta Associates, Grecotel Hotels & Resorts and Sani/Ikos Group.

In her new role, Griffiths will focus on expanding Ella Resorts’ retail distribution network, building direct engagement with travel agents, homeworker networks and tour operators, and executing an “ambitious” field activation strategy.

She will support sales manager Miranda Boura, who joined the group in 2023.

The appointment “underpins Ella Resorts’ commitment to strengthening its UK trade presence”.

Griffiths said: “I am thrilled to join Ella Resorts at such a pivotal moment in the brand’s international expansion.

Ella Resorts currently operates four properties: Ella Elissa and Ella Helea in Rhodes; Ella Álkyna in Corfu; and Ella Rocrita in Crete. The group will open its fifth resort, Ella Elyra, in Corfu next year.
