Celebrity Xcel set to host president’s cruise in 2026

Celebrity Cruises’ next president cruise is set to be an eight-night Mediterranean sailing on Celebrity Xcel in 2026.

The annual voyage will depart from Athens on September 13 and visit Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini, Ephesus and Malta, before finishing in Barcelona on September 21. 

The sailing will invite the line’s loyalty passengers to spend time with president Laura Hodges Bethge and the rest of the leadership team. 

Details of shore excursions and special events for the voyage will be announced at a later date.

This year the president’s cruise sailed to the Norwegian fjords on Celebrity Apex (pictured) between May 17 and 25.

Hodges Bethge said: “Our annual president’s cruise is my favourite sailing of the year as we dedicate a full itinerary to celebrating and spending time with our Captain’s Club members.
