Celebrity Solstice completes bow-to-stern refurbishment

Celebrity Solstice has embarked on its first voyage after a bow-to-stern refurbishment.

The ship set sail from Singapore on March 2 with six new venues on board and revamped staterooms, and after sailing in Asia and Australia will make an Alaska debut in summer 2026.

The refurbishment formed part of the $250 million enhancement programme for Solstice Class ships announced in May last year and introduced four venues that were new for Celebrity.

Sunset Park is the new top-deck outdoor destination with a new Sunset Park Café offering casual bistro dining for breakfast and lunch.

Trattoria Rosa and Fine Cut Steakhouse are also new additions, serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine and steaks and seafood.

Solstice will also debut two new entertainment venues, a 125-seat venue called Boulevard Lounge which provides all-day programming, and the sports and gaming lounge, The Parlor.

The revamp also added 54 cabins and four new categories, taking the ship’s cabin total to 1,479.

The new categories are the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, two Panoramic Ocean View Suite categories and the Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.

Passengers in The Retreat, the luxury ship-within-a-ship concept, has received a new sundeck with hot tub, outdoor seating and redesigned private lounge.
