Celebrity River Cruises introduces ‘Before and After’ Europe stays

Celebrity River Cruises has launched a range of short pre and post-cruise land stays in European cities.

Called Before and After Stays, the programme offers breaks in Prague and Budapest for next year, with Amsterdam and Lausanne options available to book for 2028.

Laura Hodges Bethge, Celebrity Cruises president, said: “Our Before and After Stays are more than an extension of a Celebrity River Cruises holiday; these stays are designed to deepen connection – to the cities, to the people who bring them to life, and to each other – leaving guests with the kind of stories and feelings that only come from truly getting close to a place.”

Local experts lead every Before and After Stay, which includes one tour each day from Celebrity River Cruises’ range of shore excursions, called Discovery Collection. 

In Prague, clients can follow the trail of alchemists and ancient scholars or explore medieval walls, secret bunkers and Cold War shelters.

In Amsterdam, a contemporary local artist can take guests to see the city’s creative districts.

Every Before and After Stay also includes premium or ultra-premium hotel accommodation, daily breakfasts and ship transfers.

With 33 sailings in 2027 and 160 sailings in 2028, Celebrity River Cruises will take guests to more than 50 destinations along the Rhine and Danube.
