Celebrity Cruises appoints agent as new sales manager

Celebrity Cruises has recruited Paula McAreavey as its new sales manager for central England and Northern Ireland.

She has worked in the industry for more than 15 years, starting her travel career as an events co-ordinator.

After a stint at Belfast One BID, she returned to the travel industry as social media and marketing manager/travel consultant at Terra Travel, Lurgan.

Her colleagues at the agency posted on Instagram about her leaving party, saying: “We all want to wish her well for the new job and we’ll miss her so much in Lurgan.”

McAreavey said she was “absolutely delighted” to be joining the Celebrity Cruises team and “can’t wait” to visit trade partners in Northern Ireland and Central England to update them about the cruise line.
