Azamara reveals plans to elevate its Destination Immersion

Azamara Cruises has unveiled plans to enhance its shore experiences programme with new destinations, excursions and onboard activities.

The new ’Destination Immersion Elevated’ initiative will take the small-ship line’s Destination Immersion and extended destination days “to the next level”.

The four-ship line will operate 22 special voyages between 2025 and 2027, up from six in the last year, including three solar eclipse cruises.

There will also be 33 country-intensive voyages and 25 new ports, claimed to give passengers more time ashore than any other cruise line.

More than half (51%) of time in port on these voyages will be late nights or overnights.

As part of the new proposition, passengers can reserve an expanded range of shore experiences up to 18 months in advance.

There will also be a new collection of exclusive and “once-in-a-lifetime experiences” led by locals, alongside more ’AzAmazing’ evenings.

Outside of itineraries, there are changes to the onboard offering, from the range of drinks to entertainment.
