Initiative is first to emerge from newly formed advisory board
Azamara Cruises has offered UK agents an exclusive 10-day head start to market its 2028 world cruise.
The initiative, designed to see the trade secure sales before the line’s own global launch of the itinerary, is the first to emerge from a newly formed partner advisory board.
UK agents will be able to start promoting the 175-night voyage to clients from November 24, more than a week ahead of the worldwide announcement on December 4.
The UK trade opportunity stems directly from the launch meeting of the advisory board in September.
The panel, comprising of Azamara’s most highly valued UK trade partners, identified early access to major itineraries as a highly sought-after sales tool.
Azamara Onward is scheduled depart Miami on January 5, 2028 on the 175-night cruise spanning six continents, 40 countries and 91 ports.
The company says it will contact all UK agents in the coming days with full details.
The full 2028 world cruise programme is to be launched and go on general sale globally from December 4.
Chief international sales officer David Siewers said: "We’re thrilled to deliver this game-changing benefit to our UK trade partners.
"By giving UK agents the opportunity to market our 2028 world cruise before we do ourselves, we’re handing them a genuine competitive edge to secure bookings. This is about backing the expertise and relationships our partners have with their customers."
UK and Ireland sales director Stuart Pearce added: "This marks the first major initiative to emerge from our partner advisory board, demonstrating our commitment to not just listening to our partners, but acting on their feedback.
“Pre-marketing our most exclusive itineraries gives agents a powerful tool to deliver exceptional value to their customers while driving their own business forward."
