Amangati will launch in the Mediterranean in 2027
Luxury hotel group Aman has revealed the name of its first Aman at Sea vessel.
Amangati is currently under construction in Genoa and is scheduled to launch in the Mediterranean for the 2027 summer season.
The news follows the launch of Aman at Sea in 2021 and the vessel’s keel laying ceremony, which took place in July last year.
The name Amangati means ‘peaceful motion’ in Sanskrit, which nods to the “effortlessness and flow that will define the onboard experience”.
The 183-metre luxury motor yacht will have 47 suites, each with its own balcony, as well as four dining venues, a jazz club, beach club and signature Aman Spa.
Amangati will be powered by “green technologies” such as battery power to “provide a more sustainable way of travel”.
The yacht will sail throughout the Mediterranean and will also be available for private charter.
Vlad Doronin, Aman Group’s chief executive, said: “Naming Amangati marks a pivotal and inspiring moment for Aman. The vessel will embody the very essence of our brand’s DNA, providing exceptional privacy, best in class amenities now synonymous with Aman, and our signature unparalleled service not yet experienced on the water.
“As construction progresses behind the scenes, our vision remains clear: to create a vessel that not only represents the highest standards of maritime engineering and design, but that also mirrors the tranquillity of our land-based sanctuaries.”
