AE Expeditions welcomes more than 100 agents in Aberdeen and Troon

AE Expeditions has hosted 106 agents on board Greg Mortimer across two overnight ship visits in Aberdeen and Troon.

The events were intended to “go beyond the typical short ship tour” and offered full access to the vessel’s public areas, an expedition lecture delivered by the operator’s expert team and meals and drinks on board.

The expedition line intends to “build on the success” of these visits with more trade-focused events throughout the rest of this year.

AE Expeditions’ EMEA director of sales Andrew Turner said: “We know how valuable it is for agents to truly understand our offering.

“These visits allowed them to see the expedition product in context and we’ve been really encouraged by the feedback.”

Club Voyages travel consultant Becky Walker added: “This was no ordinary ship visit.

“Being able to enjoy the facilities, attend a lecture, and ask questions throughout made a real difference. It gave me a much clearer understanding of what clients can expect.”
