New itineraries on offer in Brazil, Bolivia, China, Spain and the Middle East as part of operator’s ‘most expansive portfolio yet’
Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has unveiled its lineup of Small Group Journeys for 2026, including five new itineraries in Brazil, Bolivia, China, Spain and the Middle East.
The tour operator will host more than 80 Small Group Journeys next year, marking its “most expansive portfolio yet”. Each journey features no more than 18 guests and offers exclusive access and private viewings of cultural landmarks.
The five new journeys are Brazil: Ultimate Rio Carnival Experience; Ultimate Bolivia; Mountains and Myths in China and Tibet; Spain: Madrid, Valencia and Mallorca; and Desert Adventures in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Suzanne Teng, A&K’s director of global group product, said: “After introducing a range of new Small Group Journeys this year to both familiar and far-flung destinations, we challenged ourselves to venture even further for 2026.
“These new itineraries are designed to ignite curiosity and foster deeper connections, whether through intimate encounters with local communities, behind-the-scenes access to iconic celebrations or time spent in nature that’s still largely untouched.”
The six-day Brazil: Ultimate Rio Carnival Experience from February 12-17 will see travellers join the carnival and view the parade from the VIP box as well as take a private samba class, tour Rio’s shores by private boat and visit Christ the Redeemer before the crowds. Prices start at £16,190 per person.
The 10-day Ultimate Bolivia itinerary incorporates stargazing at the Uyuni salt flats; viewings of the Unesco-recognised architecture at Potosi, Sucre and El Fuerte; and a cruise on Lake Titicaca, with prices starting from £7,610.
In Asia, the 14-day Mountains and Myths in China and Tibet programme – starting from £10,360 – will include a Great Wall of China walk and tours of Yunnan’s Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the Tiger Leaping Gorge and Stone Forest, plus visits to Tibet’s spiritual hubs of Potala Palace and Sera Monastery and interactions with Tibetan communities.
