Aman Sveti Stefan to reopen following five-year closure

Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro will reopen this summer following the property’s five-year closure.

 

Located southwest of the capital city of Podgorica and a short drive from the Bay of Kotor, the resort’s mainland, eight-suite residence Villa Miločer will welcome guests from May 22, while the 58-key hotel on the private island of Sveti Stefan will reopen on July 1.

 

The resort closed in 2021 amid protests over public access to Aman Sveti Stefan’s private beaches and an ensuing legal dispute with the Montenegrin government in which the brand expressed concerns surrounding guest privacy.

 

As the property reopens, guests will have access to three beaches, including Queen’s Beach, which will remain fully private for Aman guests during the summer season.

 

King’s Beach, situated beneath Villa Miločer, will be open to both guests and non-residents and serviced by Aman during the season, while Sveti Stefan Beach will be accessible to both guests and non-residents.

 

The resort offers several dining venues, including Italian restaurant Arva, casual eatery Piazza and the Cliff Bar, which serves light bites and cocktails.

 

The Aman Spa features four double treatment rooms, hydrotherapy areas, a fitness centre and a 24-metre indoor-outdoor pool.
