Waldorf Astoria debuts in Nordic region with Helsinki property

Waldorf Astoria has opened a new property in Helsinki, marking the brand’s first outpost in the Nordic region.

 

Waldorf Astoria Helsinki features 84 rooms and 32 suites, some with in-room saunas, steam rooms and private terraces with Jacuzzis.

 

The property also houses a spa with four treatment rooms and a fitness centre, and dining venue Peacock Bar, which will serve lunch as well as signature cocktails and snacks. An additional restaurant is also expected to debut in 2026.

 

Guests will also have access to their own dedicated concierge.

 

The hotel is located in Helsinki’s historic Kruununhaka district, offering easy access to the city’s waterfront and landmarks such as Helsinki Cathedral and Market Square.
