Luxury tour operator saw an 8% year-on-year increase in January bookings
Luxury tour operator Scott Dunn has reported a “record peak trading performance” for the month of January, which saw an 8% year-on-year increase in bookings.
The company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, saw “double-digit growth” across its key product areas last month, with particular success in Canada, Cambodia and Argentina.
The cruise sector also continued to perform strongly for the company, resulting in 20% year-on-year growth.
Scott Dunn’s average booking value has also increased by 10% year on year.
Global product director Simon Lynch said: “There was concern that December’s performance may have pulled demand forward, but that simply wasn’t the case. Trading remained strong across all our core regions and cruise continued to perform particularly well.”
To mark 40 years of operations, the brand has launched The 40 Collection, which encompasses 40 signature destination experiences compiled by its sales teams. The portfolio includes marine biology encounters in the Maldives, polar snorkelling safaris and recording studio experiences in Nashville.
The anniversary has also prompted the launch of Scott Dunn’s “largest-ever” peaks incentive, in which a range of “high-value rewards” are on offer. The prizes are being supported by some of the operator’s “long-standing” partners, including Six Senses, Aman Resorts, Capella Hotels and Resorts, Silversea, Aqua Expeditions and British Airways.
Lynch commented: “This programme brings together our entire global business and reflects the strength of the partnerships that support our growth.
“Our partners have recognised the scale of our performance in 2025 and share our ambition as we look ahead to 2026.”
