One&Only to open Fiji resort and residences in 2029
Property in Yasawa Islands archipelago to mark brand’s South Pacific debut

Kerzner International has confirmed plans to open its first One&Only property in the South Pacific region with a resort and collection of private homes in Fiji.
Opening in 2029, the development will be situated on a 127-acre site in the Yasawa Islands, an archipelago in western Fiji 30 minutes from Nadi International Airport by seaplane.
The resort will house 40 rooms, suites and villas, alongside 20 private residences. The site will also provide six dining options and a Club One wellness centre.
The property’s design will incorporate traditional Fijian craftsmanship and modern features, while also minimising environmental impact.
The development will be completed in collaboration with investor BSP Life, reflecting the country’s “rising prominence as a destination for international investment”.
Kerzner’s chief executive Philippe Zuber said: “Fiji has long been a coveted addition to our global portfolio, and we’re thrilled to introduce this remarkable location to One&Only’s discerning guests.
“Unlocking this destination aligns perfectly with our strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforces our distinctive approach, continually elevating our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences, all while showcasing the warmth and hospitality of the Fijian spirit on a global stage.”
Michael Nacola, managing director of BSP Life Fiji, added: “The benefits from this catalytic investment, including job creation, skills development and growth in the tourism industry, underscore our commitment to championing prosperity for the South Pacific. Kerzner’s arrival also elevates Fiji’s posture as a prime investment destination on the global stage.”
The property’s private homes will go on sale this November.
