Nine agents selected to represent properties across Greek hotel brand’s portfolio
Grecotel has unveiled an ambassador initiative designed to “celebrate, empower and invest in the travel trade’s finest professionals”.
The Greek hotel group has selected nine agents to represent various properties across its portfolio for 2025.
These include Eda Ayyildiz, Travel Counsellors; Laura Cassidy, Buzz Off at Bumble and Bee and Heathside Travel; Katie Wilson, Althams Travel Otley; Matt Philips, Travel Chaps; Savannah Bracewell, Travel Max Worldwide; Hayley Markham, Holidays by Design; Abbi Bettles, Travel Counsellors; Ross Johnson, Travlux; and Alex Catton, Vedere Travel.
Each ambassador will represent a specific Grecotel property, with their role including travelling to the resort to experience it first-hand; sharing insider insight through social media and professional channels; and offering exclusive benefits, such as complimentary transfers, to clients who book through them.
Grecotel first launched the ambassador scheme for its LuxMe properties but after an "overwhelming response" decided to expand it to the wider portfolio of 40 hotels and resorts.
Kostas Sinis, sales director of UK and luxury at Grecotel, said: “The Grecotel Ambassadors programme is more than an initiative - it’s a partnership.
“We’re proud to invest in our valued travel partners, giving them the opportunity to experience our properties in depth and share that insight with their clients. Expanding the programme across our full portfolio is a reflection of our commitment to the travel trade - and to showcasing authentic Greek hospitality on a global scale.”
