AmaWaterways is to provide 24/7 trade booking capability via its online travel agent portal.

Agent partners will be able to secure bookings by paying deposits via credit card directly through the portal.

This allows them to confirm cabins even when the AmaWaterways offices are closed.

Agents will continue to have the option to hold a cabin provisionally for up to seven days before confirming.

At the same time the river cruise specialist is introducing a £75 regional airport departure supplement, excluding the Channel Islands.

Agents can continue to book cruise-only options by removing the flight and transfer package within the reservation process.

UK & Europe sales director Andrea Stafford said: “We pride ourselves on providing the same high level of service to our travel agent partners as we do to their clients who travel with us.

“Ensuring we can offer 24/7 support is an extension of this.

“We’re also delighted to be able to offer even more flexibility with our standardised regional airport supplements, further simplifying the booking process.”
